Supervisor experience is required. Retail experience is preferred, but not required.

All employees must be able to stand on their feet the entire shift and lift up to 50lbs. Applicants must have reliable transportation.

Assistant Store Manager

Seeking person with ambition, energy, and passion for retail. Retail Management experience a plus, attributes would include a business mind, creative spirit & an appreciation for something new daily.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

· Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.

· Reasonable decision making ability.

Retail Merchandising Supervisor – Floor Team Lead

Stuff Etc Quality Consignment Store is looking for a talented Retail Merchandising Supervisor/Floor Team Lead to join our Coralville location. We are looking for an adaptable, quality, charitable, energetic, dependable, friendly and unique individual to lead our associates and assist our customers and consignors.

The Retail Merchandising Supervisor/Floor Team Lead is responsible in ensuring all employees on the sales floor are meeting productivity requirements, following policies & procedures and customers/consignors are the top priority. This supervisor is responsible for ensuring items are being stocked in a timely manner. Resetting sales floor displays, creating attractive displays for our shoppers and keep the sales floor clean & organized. This Supervisor will also be responsible for other areas in the absence of another Supervisor and/or the General Manager.

The Sales Floor Team Lead is responsible for the following:

Regularly review the retail area, checking for cleanliness, stocking, merchandising, safety, and special needs
Assure that all processed items are stocked on the sales floor in a timely manner
Work in close relationship with the Team Leads for efficient utilization of employees, common areas, and service to customer
Train new employees in accordance with company policy
Communicate company policy and performance expectations and goals through individual daily contact

Requirements:

Candidates must have excellent oral and written communication skills and have the ability to train and motive sales associates. Candidates need to be able to prioritize and delegate work to meet all Stuff Etc guidelines and achieve company goals.

This position requires 40 hours per week, with occasional night and weekend shifts. Weekend pay incentive of $2 more per hour when working on Saturdays and Sundays. The Retail Supervisor must be able to lift 50lbs and stand on their feet for the duration of their shift. Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Candidates should have 2 years of supervisor experience. Retail experience preferred, but not required.

These associates work behind the scenes at Stuff Etc to select the best items for consignment. We have openings both full time & part time, both day and night shifts. Pricing team members work 2 weekend shifts per month.

– sorting merchandise
– determining what is sellable
– assigning prices to merchandise that has been accepted for consignment (based on training guidelines)
